The UNB Saint John Seawolves and St. Thomas University Tommies met in ACAA men's volleyball action Saturday. The Seawolves got off to a good start winning the first set 25-16. They carried the momentum through to the second set winning 25-21. The Tommies bounced back in the third set to win 25-10. However, the Seawolves would not be denied and came back strong to win the fourth set 25-17 and the match 3-1.
Ty Poore paced the Seawolves attack with 14 kills and 2 services aces. Like O'Grady had 13 kills and 6 digs for the winners. Patrick Kendall had 30 assists and Jacob McLean produced 9 digs. Christian Christie had 11 kills for the Tommies while Jonah Burridge had 30 assists and Josh Dorsey finished with 7 digs.
The Seawolves stayed undefeated at 3-0 while the Tommies fell to 0-3. The Tommies travel to University of Sainte Anne for games November 25-26 while the Seawolves host Holland College December 2-3.
