A close fought battle between the Mystics and the Blue Devils in their first meeting of the new year. King's managed to hang in with the ACAA's top side through the first three quarters, entering the final quarter trailing 36-39 before the Mount pulled away in the closing minutes to secure an 87-82 win. Brendan Morris led the Blue Devils in scoring with 19 points, while MSVU's Ty Murnaghan led all scorers with 25 points, while collecting 7 assists. King's will play next on January 21st at Crandall, while the MSVU Mystics will host Mount Allison on January 20th.
