Men's Volleyball TKU Eagles v. RDP Kings

On November 22, the King's University Eagles Men's volleyball team took on the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings at 8:00 p.m. in the King's University gymnasium.

In the first set, Kings Brett Lower set the tone with an impressive block, followed by a kill and an ace. Kings Colby Nemeth played a pivotal role with four kills and an ace, while Dillon Gauci added a key kill and Dante Furlan contributed with a great kill and an ace. The Eagles tried to rally with Tyler Fredlund's two kills and strong defensive plays from Robert Bugden and Hudson Forsberg, who combined for a great block. Brodie Schutz also had a highlight with a fantastic kill, but the Kings' offense was too strong, and they took the set comfortably. Kings won the set 25-11.

In the second set, the Kings continued to show their depth and power. Titus Acson delivered a great kill for the Eagles, while Dean Larsen and Landen Roznowski each added solid kills. Brodie Schutz was again a standout with two fantastic kills. However, Kings responded with a dominant performance: Dante Furlan served up a great ace, while Colby Nemeth showcased his versatility with two kills and two blocks. Kings Dillon Gauci added two crucial blocks, and Nicholas Possingham delivered a great kill. The Kings ultimately took the set 25-13.

In the third set and final set, the Kings completed their sweep with a commanding 25-9 win. Colby Nemeth was the star, registering four great kills, a block, and an ace. Drew Dykstra added two great kills, while Ryan Teasdale contributed with two powerful kills of his own. Brett Lower also added a crucial kill to help secure the victory. For the Eagles, Robert Bugden had two strong kills, and Kaden Tuininga recorded two great kills, with Dean Larsen also contributing a solid kill.
