In a big ACAA match up, the top ranked Hurricanes(11-3) hosted the third ranked Mounties(9-3) at the McMilllan Center for Community Engagement in Charlottetown.

In a tight contest the teams battled back and forth through four quarters.

Halftime had the Hurricanes up two(34-32). 

Neither team gave much away with 11 ties and 6 lead changes in the game.  It was Mount Allison that executed down the stretch and held on for a 65-59 victory.

Lauren Armstrong had 19 points for the 'Canes, Alex Rancourt had a double-double with 10points and 11 rebounds.

Emma Roberts had a strong game for the Mounties going 8-12 from the field with 21 points.  Amelia Mitchell had double-double with 10 points and 10 rebound.

These two teams face off against each other tomorrow, 1pm at the MCCE.
