After starting the season with four road games the Hurricanes were looking forward to playing in their home gym.

Both teams entered the game with a 3-1 record.

The Tommies started fast jumping out to 7-0 lead and ended the first quarter with a 9-point lead, 19-10.

The Hurricanes began to find their rhythm in the second quarter and made it a 3-point game at the half 32-29.

Second half belonged to the visitors as the Hurricanes struggled with turnovers and only mustered 5 points in the final quarter.

The game ended 57-43.

Nadia Barrignton led the 'Canes with 8 points.

Claudia Steeves had 13 for Tommies of the bench.  Paige Leblanc had 12points.
