The University of New Brunswick Reds played their last home game of their regular season against the University of Kings College, UKC. In a beautiful Sunday of ACAA action in Fredericton, the Reds defeated UKC 86 – 5.
Early in the game the Reds scored through a hard-fought play of UKC. With constant pressure the Reds kept their offensive going and ended the half with a score of 41-0. For the second half with determination UKC scored against a strong Reds defense. Scoring for Kings Bridget Landry. Scoring for UNB was Beau Greenwood-Gardner, Amy Andrews, Maddy Price, Kate Bennet, Kiki Hughes, Bailey Andrews, Maddie Matchett, Addie Carten.
The next game is will be the league championship schedule for November 2nd hosted UNB. Their opponent will be the winner of the semifinal, STU vs MTA. The Reds finished their regular season with a record of 6-0. The championship game is expected to be an emotional and exiting game.
