The Rams had a tight set to start the match today against the Seawolves losing 25-22; came back to win the second 15-25 playing really well, and then lost their "zip" to lose the next two 25-11 25-20.  Having difficulty sustaining focus and drive, the Rams have a great combination of veterans and rookies and they will be looking to re-group in January to win some matches.  The Seawolves were led by Birney, Degooyer and Hartos who had 6 kills, 7 digs 7.5 pts; 7kills, 8 digs 13 pts ; and 6 kills, 12 digs and 9.5 pts respectively.  The Rams were led by Capt Thea McLachlin with 14 kills, 4 digs and 16.5 pts; Sarah Van den Heuvel with 5 kills, 3 digs and 8.5 pts and Emma Marquis 4 kills, 7 digs, and 6.5 pts.  Setters  Sam Nichols and Emma Marquis combined for 26 assists and were aided by the Rams excellent passing from the backcourt.

ACAA play is finished for  University/College  Exams and the Christmas Break period with play resuming in January on the 6th.
