Holland Hurricanes at Université Sainte-Anne Dragons - Sunday November 17, 2024.

 Church Point, N.S.: The Université Sainte-Anne Dragons (7-1) hosted the Holland Hurricanes (4-4) in the 2nd of a pair of weekend matches between both teams on Sunday afternoon at the gymnasium of the Marcel-R-Comeau Sports Centre at Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point, N.S. 

Fans were treated to a very entertaining match that saw the gritty Hurricanes reverse sweep league leading Dragons 3-2 making this the first loss for Sainte-Anne this season as well as at home since November 13th 2021 vs HC. 

Leading the way for the Hurricanes : Carson Gray with 19 kills & 8 digs, Lucas Lavigne & Brett MacAusland  with 8 kills each, Dominik Pineau with 13 digs and Tyler McBride with 40 assists and 10 digs. For the Dragons, Liam Pelletier with 20 kills and 10 digs, Oliver Rutherford with 10 kills, Braidey Spinney with 9 kills and 10 digs & Thomas Marier with 31 assists. 

The Dragons hit the road next weekend for 2 matchs vs Dalhousie Rams (2-6) on Saturday November 23rd at 4 PM and on Sunday November 24th at noon in their final matchs of 2024 before their Holiday break.

Pointe-de-l'Église, N.-É. : Les Dragons de l'Université Sainte-Anne (7-1) accueillaient les Hurricanes de Holland College (4-4) dans le deuxième des deux matchs en fin de semaine entre les deux équipes, dimanche après-midi, au gymnase du Centre sportif Marcel-R-Comeau de l'Université Sainte-Anne, à Pointe-de-l'Église, N.-É.

Les partisans ont eu droit à un match très divertissant qui a vu les Hurricanes renverser les Dragons, leaders de la ligue, par la marque de 3 à 2. Il s'agit de la première défaite de Sainte-Anne cette saison ainsi qu'à domicile depuis le 13 novembre 2021 contre HC.
