Church Point, N.S.: The Université Sainte-Anne Dragons (0-6) hosted the MSVU Mystics (2-3) in the first of two home games this weekend on Saturday afternoon at the gymnasium of the Marcel-R-Comeau Sports Centre at Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point, N.S.
The Mystics and Dragons battled hard with the Dragons taking the first set 27-25. MSVU replied winning the next 3 sets : 25-17, 25-17 & 25-21.
For MSVU, Catherine MacPhail lead the way with 14 kills and 19 digs, Sarah Ryan with 13 kills and Cela MacLellan & Hannah Huntley with 11 kills each with Huntley adding 5 Service Aces as well as 14 digs & McKenzie Antle with 45 assists and 18 digs. For les Dragons : Katia Ivanov with 11 kills & Jillian MacDonald with 10 kills, Makayla Addington with 27 digs & Jacqueline Bright with 39 assists and 22 digs.
The Dragons will host Holland Hurricanes (4-2) on Sunday at 11 am at Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point, N.S.

Pointe-de-l'Église, N.-É. : Les Dragons de l'Université Sainte-Anne (0-6) accueillaient les Mystics de MSVU (2-3) dans le premier de deux matchs à domicile en fin de semaine, samedi après-midi, au gymnase du Centre sportif Marcel-R-Comeau de l'Université Sainte-Anne à Pointe-de-l'Église, N.-É.
Les Mystics et les Dragons se sont livrés un match serré avec les Dragons remportant la première manche 27-25. MSVU a répliqué en remportant les trois manches suivantes : 25-17, 25-17 et 25-21.
Pour MSVU, Catherine MacPhail a mené l'équipe avec 14 attaques marquantes et 19 récupérations, Sarah Ryan avec 13 attaques marquantes, Cela MacLellan et Hannah Huntley avec 11 attaques marquantes chacune, Huntley ajoutant 5 Service Aces ainsi que 14 récupérations et McKenzie Antle avec 45 passes et 18 récupérations.
